Former ClubsNSW AML/CTF Compliance Manager Troy Stolz announced on LinkedIn that the litigation between him and ClubsNSW has been resolved, and that he intends to continue campaigning for gambling reform which is much needed in Australia and in particular New South Wales.
In between the sacking of ClubsNSW CEO Josh Landis and Stolz's announcement this afternoon, a further step in the move towards cashless gaming (to reduce money laundering through pokies) was reported by Australian media.
One of the lessons for large organisations with deep pockets is that bankrolling whistleblower retaliation is not a good idea.
